Vocational Subject
These are available in many different career fields, such Electronics, computer technology, electrical science, and skilled trades. Vocational classes provide job-focused training for specific roles or careers. In many cases, vocational courses have the potential to lead to skills certificates or associate degrees.
Science
Students who have completed the PUC in the science stream can enroll in specialist degree courses in nursing, pharmacy, agriculture, engineering or medicine. They can also enroll for a pure-sciences B.Sc.. Admission to these courses depends upon marks scored in PUC exams conducted by the institutes or by the state board.
Commerce
students who have an interest in the field of financial information/transactions, trading of economic value, etc. often consider taking up after completing 10+2. Students who are looking forward to pursuing a career in Commerce have a wide range of choices before them.
Code of Conduct
A few guidelines for you to follow:
- It should be the earnest responsibility of parents to ensure that their children attend college punctually, and are regular and disciplined in their academic work and progress.
- If parents observe that their child is not able to follow the lessons, the Principal should be contacted.
- Students should come to college by 8.55 am. Late comers will be sent home.
- Students are to report to college in freshly laundered uniforms, with clean socks and shoes. Girls should come with neatly plaited hair and should use only black rubber bands.
- Students found tampering with college records and marks allotted in tests or examinations are liable to face strict disciplinary action.
- Students are to handle college property carefully and any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it.
- Bullying or use of foul language will invite disciplinary action and will be dealt with severely.
- Bursting of crackers or playing with colors or any untoward behavior will lead to expulsion from the college.
- Parents are to address any grievances or concerns regarding their wards’ progress or performance to the Principal for remedial action.
- No student will be permitted to go home in between school hours. In case of an emergency, the Principal is to be contacted by the parent or local guardian, as is applicable.
- Do ensure that your ward does not carry mobile phones, digital music players, electronic gadgets, cash or any valuables to college. Strict action will be taken in case students are found with such electronic gadgets and these gadgets will not be returned. The college is not responsible for any loss of personal property of any student.
- The college reserves the right to suspend or take strict action against a student whose performance in studies is constantly a concern, or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
- Students who have been sick should bring a medical certificate on joining college. A fitness certificate is to be provided if the student has been suffering from contagious or infectious ailment. Please do not send a sick child to college.
